In today’s post we’re making a trip to Ogden Utah to hear about an upgrade from a rickety department store plant cover, to a beautifully crafted greenhouse shed that will last a lifetime. Read more below. 

Utah Structures

Dennis is a native of Ogden Utah and enjoys collecting plants of all varieties but he and his wife especially love cacti and succulents. When their department store greenhouse failed them, they decided to invest in a quality built structure that would hold up for a much longer period of time. They made a trip to nearby Utah Structures and picked out a greenhouse shed built by Montana Shed Center. The primary function of this shed is to help the more delicate varieties of their plant collection survive the harsh Utah winters. The greenhouse helps maintain a consistently warm, dry climate and being under roof, the plants are safe from snowfall.

Cacti and Succulent Greenhouse

The interior has a lot of room for large plants and a shelf on one side for smaller varieties. The greenhouse has ventilation built in and heaters are used in the winter to help keep it warm year round.

Beautiful, Practical & Functional

The greenhouse shed that Dennis chose is the perfect color for their property with the Utah mountains in the background, and the sturdy construction means it’ll stand the test of time.

From Dennis:

“It’s got good 4×4 construction and 2×4, and I think it’ll be really solid. And the skin is a lot thicker on it.

It’s gonna fit the bill for all my cacti I think.”
