Scott Dixon is a skilled handyman that started recording home improvement projects to share with everyone so they could save a little money by doing it themselves. His YouTube channel, Everyday Home Repairs, has done so well he’s now created new channels on certain topics. One such topic is sheds, which has lead to the creation of a second channel called Everyday Shed and a third named Everyday Solar. In today’s blog we’ll learn from Scott how he converted his shed to solar power.

Such a great idea!
Having free power generated by the sun and stored in a battery with a built in inverter is so much easier to setup and use than solar systems of the past. These kits have some a long way and now it’s easier and more affordable than ever to power home projects or your shed with solar. As he mentioned, these kits can be scaled up for residential use or to power an off grid tiny home.
